Essays & Anthologies
Ana Maria’s writing has appeared regularly in journals and magazines including Orion, River Teeth, Creative Nonfiction, and Brevity, and as well as in anthologies of various types. Two essays that first appeared in the fine journal Under the Sun were been listed as “notable” in Best American Essays, as was this one, "Hope Without Hope" from Ecotone. Several have been nominated for Pushcart Prizes.
